- Dimensions: 60 cm x 90 cm

This painting is part of a series of nine acrylic paintings on canvas aiming to pay tribute to the Muses of Greek mythology who presided over different artistic fields. The artist had fun assigning them a background and different colors to each one, according to their particularities.
This one is dedicated to Calliope (“beautiful-voiced") who was the superior Muse, the Muse of epic poetry and the goddess of eloquence; she was said to be the wisest and most assertive of the Muses. She was accompanying kings and princes in order to impose justice and serenity. She was the protector of heroic poems and rhetoric art. According to the myth, Homer asks from Calliope to inspire him while writing Iliad and Odyssey*.
The set of nine paintings exudes both strength and an incredible variety of colors but which tend to form a single entity not lacking in harmony.
